Ted You are so right with everything in your post. The average run of the mill working stiff and those of us retired are at the mercy of our government officials that are only interested in what benefits them, not about doing the job they are elected to do.

Oil speculators are a large part of the problem. It is a easy way for the hedge fund mangers to get rich. They do not care what the price at the pump is, it does not effect them the way it does 90 % of us.

For years when the economy was running smooth the unions got every thing they asked for. Retirement at 55 with medical was wrong !!

I have no pity for any of these players of any sport that make big bucks and do not have enough sense to live on a budget, even if the budgets is 3 or 4 times what I have as income for a year. As the saying goes, you can lead a horse to water but you cannot make it drink. !!!
